Gaby Schaab is an artist working mainly in collage and video as a means to process her personal collection of found images (as well as her own photos) and to make meaning out of what she considers to be anthropological, digitally-sourced media. Her work explores ideas about image circulation, computer usage, the use of the computer as a processor, the classification of found images as a material (especially in the context of the Information Age), the malleable border between real life and life online, spiritual Internet usage, the hand the Internet has played in creating an interactive public archive and the relationship between image making and quilting.

Education: Massachusetts College of Art and Design 2021, BFA Studio for Interrelated Media
